$100,000 gets you Hybrid Technologies latest offering. Maybe.

The next time you're picking up that variety pack of chimichangas from the local Sam's Club, you might just want to swing by the automotive section to check out their latest "Once-In-A-Lifetime Package" deal: the Hybrid Technologies Liv Inizio electric supercar. (Ok, so you're not actually going to physically see it in the store, but it was fun to think of test-driving a car through the frozen-food section for a second, wasn't it?)

A one-time-only offering on the Sam's Club Web site, the electric supercar was marketed as a package, complete with travel and lodging accommodations for two to receive the car at a racetrack in Los Angeles, all for a cool $100,000—which seems awful cheap for a "supercar." Considering we'd never heard of the company or the car, naturally our interest was piqued.
